The answer is NO.
When they tell you that you should shut off all the power before messing with the electrical switches in your house, they are totally being serious.

AC tried the same very thing and gave up after the first shock. Maybe you can come by and teach him sometime!

Make sure everyone knows where the stairs are. It is easy to get confused in the dark, so count how many doors you need to go through. Don’t use the lift.Electrical Contractors
